    Hi All,

I'm (soon) to be in the market for a 306 XSi. I'm looking for a 2000/01
    around the £6000 mark.

Do all XSi's come with leather seats as standard?
My problem is that I'd rather have non-leather seats (for personal reasons).

If they do come fitted as standard, how much would they be worth if I wanted
to sell them and put the money towards a set of sports (non-leather) seats?

Also, are there any other points to note for the year/spec that I'm after?

    Thanks in advance,
    Al

  2. I believe that leather seats are not standard on XSI's. I think half leather
was an option. I have a 97 phase 2 model with standard cloth sports seats.
The car was revised again in around 99, T onwards, with a few minor styling
changes, whether leather seats became standard here i do not know.

    Hope this helps!

    Steve.

    not too sure
I got a 98 R phase 2 XSI and its got the velour cloth
the newer ones and the HDI's all seem to come with Leather now

I think the ones with circluar spot fogs come with leather

Right then, any ideas/thoughts on the second part of my query regarding
basically "part-ex'ing" the leather seats for alternative - probably
    sports - seats?

  5. Check out what they go for on Ebay, if indeed there is a market for such
things. Maybe try an advert in a boy racer magazine like Lax Flower for a
swap. I'm sure someone, indeed several people somwhere, would like to do
the opposite of what you do and upgrade the cloth seats in their car to
leather ones (if indeed the model you're after has leather).

You could also punt the leather ones in free ads paper and pull some seats
out a crashed car in a scrappy?
